About Seattle Scone Co.
Seattle Scone Co. was born from a simple but enduring idea: that something as humble as a scone can turn an ordinary moment into something memorable. Whether enjoyed fresh from the oven on a quiet morning, shared over coffee with a friend, or baked at home for a weekend brunch, our scones are made to bring people together.
We craft every scone with care, using clean, pronounceable ingredients, sourcing organic and local whenever possible, such as creamy Beecher’s cheese and sun-ripened Pacific Northwest berries. Our signature touch? A delicate frosting that elevates each bite, plus vegan and gluten-free options so everyone can be part of the moment.
You can find us at farmers markets across Seattle, offering both fresh-baked and frozen take-and-bake scones so you can bring the experience home. While our roots are in the Pacific Northwest, our vision reaches further. Soon, you will find Seattle Scone Co. in frozen aisles, ready to bring a taste of Seattle to kitchens everywhere.
Founder’s Story
For founder Elizabeth Hameed, baking has always been more than mixing ingredients. It is a way to connect, to care, and to create joy. She grew up in the kitchen with her mom, learning the quiet magic of baking from scratch. Years later, as a mom herself, she began baking scones for her own children, rekindling those cherished memories and passing the tradition forward.
One morning, when her young son was going through a phase of refusing breakfast, she baked him a batch of scones. To her surprise, that was all he wanted to eat. Experimenting with new flavors to keep things interesting, she landed on what would become her signature lemon scone, and she knew she had something special to share.
Seattle Scone Co. grew from that simple act of love. Today, Elizabeth’s recipes are for everyone, including friends, neighbors, families of all shapes and sizes, and anyone who finds joy in gathering around good food. Her hope is that every scone you bake at home carries that same warmth and welcome, turning your own kitchen into a place where memories are made.
